Ding Yi Music Company presents the first and only “radio station” themed programme on Chinese chamber music with pop songs from different eras using Chinese instruments.

Students will learn about the 4 different genres of Chinese Chamber Music – Cantonese, Hokkien, Teochew, Silk and Bamboo and how Chinese instruments are used in each genre.
Ding Yi Onstage vs Offstage
Peek into our rehearsal studio and observe how our musicians and management team prepares for a performance. Get up close and personal with our conductor and musicians and see how our rehearsals are conducted. The programme will culminate with a performance at the Black Box studio.
