Manager, Marketing and Communications

Job Summary:


The role (Manager, Marketing & Communications) will develop, plan and implement marketing, media and public communications to profile Ding Yi Music Company events and as a company with a positive image. The manager will have to execute marketing strategies and plans to maximise the reach, publicity and visibility of Ding Yi as per the company’s goals, mission and vision.


This will involve the delivery and management of key responsibilities such as budget planning, ticket sales, production of marketing collaterals, eDMs, website updates, exploring partnership opportunities, social media channels, media engagements and preparation of timely corporate/marketing/media/publicity and communication materials (press releases, articles, reports, annual reports, season launch etc).


Job Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Develop, plan and implement marketing strategies to achieve Ding Yi’s goals, mission and vision, in support of the different functions of the company

  • Develop and oversee the production and distribution of all communication materials used to support Ding Yi’s publicity, marketing, and public relations events, including but not limited to the annual season booklet, publicity posters, programme booklets, and press releases

  • Conduct and/or coordinate research related to audiences, market receptivity and preferences, and performance feedback

  • Drive public relations initiatives through proactive engagement with media for press releases, press kits and etc.

  • Manage ticket-related sales and operations

  • Manage and update Ding Yi’s digital media platforms, including but not limited to the website, Facebook page, and eDMs

  • Create and monitor social media initiatives by capturing and analysing data/metrics, insights and best practices, and continuously seek avenues for improvement



  • Passionate about the arts/music

  • Strong communication (verbal and written) abilities, in English and Mandarin

  • Possess strong knowledge in marketing tools, digital and social media platforms ideally within the Arts & Culture sector

  • Good project and time management skills, with a meticulous eye for detail

  • Committed team player, responsible, reliable, and able to work with others to achieve company goals

  • Familiar with Adobe or multimedia tools would be an added advantage
